When homeless Nia wants to smoke her crack in the morning, she notices that she has lost it. Since dealer Charlie only has a strong psychedelic drug left, she smokes it with him. When he complains of heart problems, she tries in vain to get help. Because of heart palpitations she gets scared to death herself and forgets about Charlie. After she has come down again, she remembers and looks for him. Unexpectedly, she finds him again on the street. He tells her about his escape from an admission to psychiatry. Relieved and irritated, she plans on changing her life.
