EUGENE (50) lives alone in his small apartment at the edge of a city. His passion for sketching is inspired by his fictional relationship with LINDA (35). Ever since she moved into the apartment across the street, he has made a nightly ritual out of waiting for her to come home. On this particular evening, she receives a male visitor. Eugene is convinced that LOVERBOY (40) is an imminent threat to Linda’s wellbeing and takes it upon himself to save the day.
