Silvia is going through a day of defeat. She is fired by her boss just four years before her retirement. She is devastated. In the evening, she sets off for the rehearsal in her church choir, where she sings the solo part. But on the way, she is fined by a police check. At the church the choir director notices that something is wrong with Silvia. She doesn't perform well and loses her solo. It is very difficult for her to stand on her legs, but then she decides to make a liberating step.
