The 2017 master degree film by Jan-Eric Mack wins the CILECT Award 2018 in the category Fiction and will be screened in November during the CILECT Congress in Mumbai .

Born in 1983 in Trüllikon, Switzerland. 2002-05 Trains as graphic designer. 2005-09 Works as graphic designer. 2009-13 BA in Film at ZHdK (Zürcher Hochschule der Künste), film department. 2014-17 MA in Feature Film Directing at ZHdK. Works as independent filmmaker and graphic designer in Zurich.

The Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences on Monday announced (December 11) that 10 live-action short films will advance in the voting process for the 90th Academy Awards. Academy members received a record 165 titles. Members of the short films and feature animation branch viewed the eligible entries in the preliminary round of voting and will choose five nominees. The Oscars ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, March 4, 2018, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood.
