Shenthuya, Jana, Joana, Haris and Renad attend school receiving special tuition in small classes because their cognitive and social skills do not meet the norm’s requirements. They grow up in a country that is as foreign to their parents as their parent’s roots are foreign to them. Five children who successfully act as intermediary between two worlds and nonetheless are already marginalised by society.
