The friends Mia, Rio and Ayé (14) spend a lot of time in their self-created “bubble”, their “safe space”, where they can simply be who they are and dream freely about who they want to become. They indulge in fantastic “doing nothing” until their space loses more and more of its color and warmth and their light-heartedness comes under pressure. The danger comes from outside: A black, all-consuming shadow forces them to flee. In the last café in the world, they toast with colorful milkshakes to the fact that they will face the world and try to save it.
