Tim Egner, born in 1996, began his Bachelor's degree in Editing Picture & Sound at the ifs internationale filmschule köln in 2017. His graduation film "Made in Germany", for which he did the editing and sound design, won the audience award for best short film at the Max Ophüls Preis film festival in 2022 and screened at numerous other festivals. During his studies at the ifs, he took part in the 8th European Editing Masterclass in Grožnjan, Croatia. In fall 2021, he began his Master's degree in Film Editing at the Zurich University of the Arts, which he successfully completed in 2024.
