Born in 1984. Swiss citizenship. In 2008 he obtained a Bachelor of Arts at NABA (Milan) and in 2010 a Master of Arts in Film (Directing and Scriptwriting) at ZHdK Zurich. He has been student of Paolo Sorrentino and Markus Imboden and he has worked as assistant director and director with other prominent personalities like Luca Guadagnino and Tilda Swinton.
Riccardo Bernasconi and Francesca Reverdito have written and directed several short films, selected in important venues (Locarno, Oberhausen, Leeds, Buenos Aires). Death for a Unicorn, narrated by Tilda Swinton, has been selected in competition at the 70. Mostra del Cinema in Venice in 2013.
