Michele Cirigliano was born in Zürich in 1976. He worked as a secondary-school teacher from 2002-12. From 2008-12 bachelor degree course in anthropology and film studies at the University of Zurich. It follows a Master Degree Course at the film school ZHdK, Zürcher Hochschule der Künste with specialisation in documentary filmmaking.
