Growing up in a musical family in Northern Germany, Lena studied in contemporary dance and street styles in Zurich, where she discovered the craft of directing. From 2021-2025, she pursued her studies in another bachelor’s degree in film at Zurich University of the Arts with a focus on directing, editing and sound design. Her solo director’s debut in ALBA was nominated for 51st Student Academy Awards ® 2024 in the category “Alternative/Experimental“. In 2025, she received the Alexis Victor Thalberg Award for her work in sound design in TERRITORY by Felix Scherrer.
