Julius Weigel studied sculpture and Videoart in Berlin, Jerusalem and Leipzig. During his studies he successfully exhibited films and artworks, running in various festivals such as Berlinale, Oberhausen and Max Ophüls Preis. In early 2025, he completed his Master’s in Directing Fiction at Zurich University of the Arts. He is currently working as an independent writer and film maker in Berlin and Zurich.
