Carlo Beer (*1985) was born and raised in a village in the Swiss Alps. After his apprenticeship as a professional chef he spent five years in Los Angeles. After he returned to Switzerland, he moved to Zurich and started working as production assistant for film production companies. From 2015 to 2020 he studied writing and directing at the Zurich University of the Arts. He currently works at a movie theater and writes short stories in romansh for the national radio station. Carlo still enjoys cooking.
