Beat Schönenberger grew up in St.Gallen's green Fürstenland countryside. He studied journalism in Winterthur. In 2014 he moved to Bern where he wrote dozens of (short) stories and read for audiences.
 Beat is always interested in his immediate surroundings: The moods and political developments, the people and their human condition.
 He draws on observations of daily life and his writing is incisive, concise and opinionated. Beat writes in German and English.
 2022 Beat moved to Biel/Bienne, where he writes screenplays and prose, does black and white phography and produces electronic music.
