Basil Burger graduates from high school in 2017 with a music profile. In a multimedia internship, he comes into contact with camera work and editing for the first time and then, in an internship at Swiss Television, takes the camera at the livestream for "Jeder Rappen Zählt". In 2019 he begins his film studies at the Zurich University of the Arts, where he gains experience on many film sets and discovers his fascination for film editing.
