Born in 1963 in Morbio, Switzerland. 1989-92 Studies Political Science, Sociology and Film Studies at the University of Zurich. 1992-97 Attends ZHdK (Zürcher Hochschule der Künste). 1997 Receives degree from ZHdK, Film and Video Department. Since 1997 works as screenwriter, cinematographer, director and producer. Since 2007 also lectures at the HSLU (Hochschule für Design und Kunst, Luzern), video department.
