Balazher wins the Green Image Award in Tokyo
On 23 March 2016, Lesia Kordonets received the Green Image Award at the Green Image Film Festival in Tokyo for her ZHdK degree film "Balazher. Korrekturen der Wirklichkeit".

Alexis Victor Thalberg Documentary Film Award
Endowed with a total of CHF 30'000, this year's Alexis Victor Thalberg Documentary Film Award was given to one BA degree film — "Balazher. Korrekturen der Wirklichkeit" — and two MA degree films — "Neuland" und "Padrone e Sotto".

Best Documentary Film
BALAZHER. Korrekturen der Wirklichkeit by Lesia Kordonets is awarded the ARRI Prize for the Best Documentary Film. Endowed with EUR 4'000 payment in kind, the prize is awarded each year at the Munich International Festival of Film Schools.
