Lisa (19) starts her new part-time job on the till at a canteen whose other staff include Kenan (23) and their boss Rita (60). Kenan makes eyes at Lisa but the sullen Rita tries to persuade him that as a lowly kitchen assistant he doesn’t stand a chance in hell. Kenan ignores Rita and asks Lisa out to a bar. But he realises that Rita wasn’t entirely wrong after all. Eventually they all go out dancing and Kenan no longer feels at ease.
