Gaétan Nicolas, geboren 1994 in Sion, Schweiz, ist Künstler und Filmemacher. Nach einem Bachelor in Humangeographie und Informations- und Kommunikationswissenschaften absolvierte er eine Filmausbildung an der ERACOM, wo er sich auf die Kameraarbeit spezialisierte. Im Jahr 2019 schloss er sein Studium ab und absolvierte einen Master in Regie an der ZHDK. Gaétans künstlerische Arbeit erforscht Raum, Farben und Bewegungen und fordert Perspektiven heraus. Mit innovativen Kamerarigs und Grip-Equipment bringt er eine neue Perspektive des Geschichtenerzählens in den Film.
