Eleven year old Manuel grows up in an over-protected enviroment with his parents Jacqueline and Daniel. He has created a hide away in a hedge in the garden, where he can escape from his mother’s persistent surveillance. Here he keeps a collection of forbidden items. When his mother discovers the hiding place, Manuel loses his last refuge. He takes drastic action and spends one day of complete childhood.
