Andrea Popović was born in Locarno in 1993 to Serbian parents. He graduated in Animation Production at Arts University Bournemouth in 2017 and, the same year, his diploma short film “Vida” was awarded the Judges’ Prize for Best Animation Film at the Purbeck shorts competition. Since 2019 he is pursuing a Masters Degree in directing at Zurich University of the Arts, where he realised his first Fiction Short “Bele Noći” and his diploma film “Ukopan”.
